Under most circumstances Pressure Grouting is a 3 stage process. Stage 1 is rotary wash drilling. Stage 2 is high pressure grouting of the sinkhole feature to seal it. Stage 3 is high pressure grouting to replace the soils and materials that have migrated through the sinkhole feature and re-consolidate all of the remaining loose soil zones
Structural Underpinning is the technology and process of using structural steel piles to support and relevel a structure. During the process the piles are driven to the depth of competent soils or limestone in order to insure the proper support of the structure
Chemical grout is used mainly for shallow soil conditions in order to reconsolidate and bind loose soils together. Chemical grouting can also be used to level a structure and give a structurally compromised slab support
Slurry grouting is a process using Portland cement and water under low pressure to bind and cement migratable soils together in order to prevent those soils from moving.
Injection Piers use a technology and process very similar to structural underpinning. Once the piles are driven, low pressure grout is pumped through the piers to help bind the structural piles to the competent soils or limestone.
Excavation and Earthwork is the removing or building of soils for everything from creating retention ponds to back filling a cover collapse feature. It also includes leveling and grading of surface materials.
