NEC Keystone brought in several technological innovations to the sinkhole arena including:

Rotary Wash Drilling

Prior to Rotary Wash Drilling the standard for drilling was the use of augers which proves to do more damage and did not assure proper placement of drill pipe. It was NEC Keystone that introduced Rotary Wash Drilling which is now the standard in sinkhole technology.

Polyurethane Foam Injection Technology

NEC Keystone did extensive research for a new product used for shallow soil densification and leveling of slabs in order to improve the overall quality of sinkhole remediation. As a result of this research NEC Keystone introduced Uretek which is now widely used in the sinkhole remediation process.

NEC Keystone has a long record of using the most efficient equipment and safety.

• Low pressure extracting rams and hydraulic power packs

• Delivery of material and pipe through designated trucks

• Only company that uses mini containers for storage of excess grout material

• 100% contained rotary wash drills and trailers. This equipment returns 95% of all drill fluids and materials to the trailer in order to reduce environmental and biological impact

NEC Keystone, Inc. began as Keystone Supports, a company specializing in structural repair and modification of both residential and commercial structures. Keystone Supports is one of the oldest and most experienced underpinning companies, serving the entire state of Florida since 1992. As Keystone Supports we completed hundreds of underpinning and foundation repair projects spanning both individual residential clients as well as large commercial jobs.

In 2001 Keystone Supports formed NEC Keystone, Inc. to meet the rising demand for sinkhole remediation in the Central Florida area. We saw the need for specialized technology, equipment and service that were not available at that time. With our substantial background in structural repair and modification NEC Keystone was a perfect fit to meet the needs of the increasing sinkhole remediation market. NEC Keystone incorporated all of the technology and experience we developed with Keystone Supports and brought it to bear in the sinkhole remediation arena. Our knowledge and experience has led to numerous innovations in order to better serve our clients and complete our projects to the highest standards.

Throughout the years NEC Keystone has worked with every major insurance company, geotechnical and structural engineer in the state of Florida. We have completed projects throughout the state including contracts for multiple counties and municipalities as well as the FDOT.
